Guineafowl (Guinea hen) raised outdoors
Label Rouge Peasant Guineafowl. Known as “Guinea hen” due to its origins in that country and Ethiopia. It is a bird raised outdoors in France in the Les Landes area and is characterized by being a runner bird that searches for acorns and herbs while its diet is complemented with 70% cereals and cereal derivatives. The French Label Rouge quality seal guarantees that due to their slow growth they are at least 94 days old and are classified in group “A” (according to European appearance standards) so they have to be perfect in terms of presentation. Its flavor has great personality. It usually weighs between approximately 1.5kg and 1.70kg.
