Configure Logistics
If in your business you want to offer the possibility of sending your products to your customers, you have three options:
- Creating your own transport configurations, whether you make deliveries yourself or already have a trusted delivery company.
- If you do not have your own transportation, 'contracting' deliveries to companies that offer their transportation services for all the businesses on the platform. You can contact these companies directly to find out the details of their service offering for all the shipments that you need in your business: whether for online purchases or for the logistical needs that you need offline. li>
- Combining your own transportation configurations with those of the companies that offer their transportation services within the platform.
Before you start managing transport configurations…
You must have the option to sell your products activated in the "configure store" section of your "control panel" (if not, you will not be able to see the "transport settings" button), to do this, Click on my account / control panel / configure store and check the "ON" option in '"Do you want to sell your products?".
With this action they will be enabled ;the configuration of payment methods and other details related to your store (minimum order and free shipping over a certain amount).
Whether you make the deliveries yourself or if you work with a company of logistics, you can incorporate these transportation services to your website. Create as many configurations as transportation services you offer (ambient, cold, zoned, free, etc.). For example, if you offer deliveries in your neighborhood with your own means of transport and you also make cold deliveries with an external company throughout the province, you have to create two configurations: one 'Own local transport' and another 'Province cold transport' , each with its characteristics.
In the "logistics configuration" panel you will be shown both the transport configurations that you have selected from the logistics companies attached to the platform, such as the own configurations that you have configured:
Platform logistics service providers
You will have the possibility of "hiring" the logistics services offered by logistics companies attached to the platform. You can see the transportation services offered by each of the companies by clicking on "see complete sheet".
Once you are in the logistics company's file, you will be able to see the details of each of the transportation services it offers by clicking on "see".
If you are interested in applying any of the transportation services offered by this logistics company to your products, click on "request connection."
After requesting the link, you will have to wait for the logistics company to accept you and that is when you will have access to select those transport services that you want to be available to associate to your products.
NOTE: If you would like more information about the logistics company, you can contact them through the contact information that appears in their file.
Those transportation services that you have selected in each of the logistics companies will be shown in your "logistics configurations" panel.
My logistics configurations transport
To create your own transport configuration, click my account > control panel > logistics configurations > see full list and details > new transport configuration:
1. Name. Give a name that is easy to recognize. Examples: "Free own transportation", "Food - own cold transportation". Description. Indicates the details and characteristics of this transport. Example: local transport at controlled temperature.
2. The collection address (Origin) will be the address you have indicated in “Business location data”.
3. Geographic scope (Destination). Indicates in which geographical area the transport configuration you are creating applies:
- National. Select "national" if your rate is the same for the entire national territory, (NOTE! Includes islands, Ceuta and Melilla).
- Regional. Select the provinces you want to associate with this configuration. Click on “Peninsula Only” if you want the destination of this transport configuration to be peninsular only.
Postal Code or Towns. If you want to specify geographical areassmaller (neighborhoods, etc.), use this option, you can search by population or enter the different zip codes by hand.
Other countries (all except Spain and Portugal), will only have the "National" option.
4. Free or paid.
- ON: Choose this option if the configuration you are creating is to offer transportation that is not charged, that is, that is assumed by you.
If a product reference includes free shipping, this symbol appears in its shipping information: Therefore, users can see, at the moment they see the product, that your reference has this advantage associated with it.
- OFF: Select it to determine the corresponding prices by kilograms, units or by order price.
- Ranks. Write the prices for each range including VAT. Insert ranges.
- Last rank. Decide if from the last range you created, the transport will be Free / Non-shippable / Incremental. For example, orders of more than 50kg may have free shipping, will not be shippable or will cost "x"€ more for each kilo/unit.
When you're done, don't forget to click "Save Transport Settings."
It is important that associate with the references all the possible configurations through which the products that you have for sale, since the platform will automatically select the most convenient one for your client. Even if it is not a priority for that product (for example, associating cold delivery with canned vegetables), if it can be delivered with a specific configuration, associate it.
