Penedès "black-legged" rooster “Besàvia”. Raised outdoors in the municipality of Rodonyà a l'Alt Camp. It is a slow-growing rooster with a lifespan between 15 and 18 weeks and fed with 100% cereals – mainly wheat and corn – and legumes from the region. It is characterized by having dark gray legs, black feather and red crest. With excellent quality meat, low in fat and an exquisite taste, it is ideal for grilling or stewing. It usually weighs between 2.6kg and 3.1kg.
